I love the keys too!! Especially since I live only 3 hrs away from them :)

Great photo!! A bit too closely cropped to the top of the boats though, I think.

Thank you all for your comments. Velvet, that was on of my favorite things about this picture, besides the reflections. It is really hard to tell where the light source is coming from... is the wall behind the boats raised and the light is coming from under the wall... or is the wall just farther back and the light is coming from above it? Takes a while to figure it out but I like the natural optical illusion.

JapiHonoo if you look just above the motor of the boat on the left you'll see a beige rectangle. That is called a poling platform (they are both flats boats) and that is the highest spot of both of the boats. They stand up there with a long pushpole and push the boat around in water as shallow as about 8 inches. So I guess that would be the top of the boat.
I really like your photomanips and I thank you for commenting on my pic. Keep up the great work!

Christinee I agree about the crop but I really wanted the focus to be on the light sources and the reflections. In retrospect I wish I would have included a bit more above the boats. Thank you for your comment. By the way, if you live 3 hours from the keys, we must be neighbors. I live in Ft Lauderdale. Howdy neighbor! ;)
